In a recent development, the second promotional video for the anime adaptation of Tetsuryō! meet with Tetsudō Musume has been unveiled, revealing the ending theme song and additional cast members. The video also confirms the October premiere date for the anime.
The ending theme song, titled "Watashi Miraisen" (My Future Line), is performed by Tetsuryo Club, featuring the main voice actors: May Tachibana as Misaki, Mao Shōji as Kodama, Haruna Fukushima as Ushio, and Hika Tsukishiro as Usa. The video showcases the characters in various settings, highlighting their journey and the world of Tetsudō Musume.
In addition to the ending theme, the video introduces several new cast members, including Yukari Anzai as Arisa Nishiura, Yuki Nakashima as Chihaya Asakura, Asami Seto as Sakie Ashio, and Hana Hishikawa as Shiina Igusa. The video also confirms the presence of special guest appearances by Tomoka Ishiyama, Madoka Toyokawa, Wakaba Hashimoto, Tsubasa Hiraizumi, Mizuki Yakusa, and Daiya Hayami.
The anime is directed by Misuzu Hoshino at East Fish Studio, with Aya Satsuki overseeing and writing the series scripts. Hisanori Hashimoto is responsible for character design. The story centers on four train-loving college students who are members of the Tetsudō Ryokō Dōkō-kai, exploring the world where Tetsudō Musume work in various railway companies and businesses across Japan.
Tetsudō Musume, launched in 2005, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025. The anime adaptation is a collaboration between TOMYTEC and Kisetsu Morita, the author of the original novel I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level. The characters in the anime wear real uniforms and work clothes, reflecting the real-life Tetsudō Musume who work in railway companies and businesses.
